Skinner Nurseries has been serving the Dallas/Ft. Worth area since 2000, with locations in the north Dallas suburbs of Lewisville and Carrollton. The new Ft. Worth branch encompasses a full-service 6-acre yard, stocking four-inch color and up to 300-gallon container trees.

"Opening the Ft. Worth branch has given us a phenomenal opportunity to conveniently service the entire Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex,” said Lance Martin, regional vice president for Skinner Nurseries. “The burgeoning growth experienced in the western metroplex area demanded that we provide our customers with an easily accessible one-stop landscape solution. We listened to our customers, and we look forward to serving them.”

Bryan Schaid, bringing more than 14 years of green industry experience with him, will serve as branch manager for the new location.

Skinner Nurseries operates two growing farms in Central Florida, and now 22 strategically located distribution centers across the southern United States. The company is among the fastest growing suppliers of green goods in the Sun Belt. This announcement follows the opening of three Skinner locations in the Atlanta, Ga. area in June.
