South Carolina Firm Sends Assistance To Midwest Flood Victims

Southland Landscape collected more than 100 bags of clothes.

Southland Landscape Corp. has completed its two-week clothing drive to help those in need due to the devastating floods of the Midwest.

Southland teamed up with other local landscaping professionals and associations to help bring in as many donations as possible. The Greenery, Forever Green, Artigues Landscape Group, the Mom’s Club of Mount Pleasant and the entire Charleston community pitched in for the cause.

Throughout the clothing drive, Southland was able to collect over 100 bags and boxes full of shirts, shoes, pants, socks, jackets and toys. All donations were picked up by the Salvation Army and are on their way to the flood victims.

“It is incredible to have such great companies, associations and the people of our community come together to help others in need,” says Brian Pottieger, Vice President of business development. “Southland truly appreciates everyone who donated to the clothing drive and we hope that we are able to bring some relief to those suffering from this tragedy.”
