Spring-Green Lawn Care celebrated its 30th anniversary Jan. 11-13 in
“Spring-Green has had its ups and downs – we’ve had great joys and great sadness, impressive successes and miserable failures,” Hofer said. “We’ve capitalized on opportunities that have kept us growing strong.
“So, what are we celebrating – the 30 years we’ve just completed or the next 30 years?” Hofer continued. “I think we celebrate the next 30 years because we intend to accomplish even more.”
Part of that plan includes growing the $26-million company to $100 million. Currently, Spring-Green has 114 franchises operating in 23 states. Eleven franchises were added in 2006 and projections call for 15 new franchises in 2007.
In attendance at the event were approximately 150 franchise employees, as well as event sponsors, including PermaGreen Supreme, Bayer Environmental Science, Dow AgroSciences, Syngenta and Real Green Systems, many of which gave away products as drawing prizes during the celebration. Networking roundtables and presentations completed the educational portion of the program.
In other news, Spring-Green recently received four stars in the franchisee satisfaction survey administered by Franchise Business Review, a national franchise market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction and franchise buyer experiences.
