The New York Botanical Garden's Howell Family Garden is a beautiful and engaging place for visitors to discover nature and enjoy springtime landscape features.
Spring opening weekend at the garden is March 29 and 30. There are four global gardens in the family garden maintained by local residents featuring plants from their native countries – a meadow, two ponds, a composting area, annual and perennial displays, an herb collection, ornamental vegetable demonstration gardens and whimsical topiaries.
The garden is free with admission to The New York Botanical Garden.
