Swanson Russell Associates (SRA) recently received two "Best in Show" awards at the 2007 Turf & Ornamental Communicators (TOCA) competition in Savannah, Ga. In addition, SRA garnered eight first place awards and four merit awards.
Competing against agencies on a national basis, SRA earned two "Best in Show" awards (and two of the first place awards) for its work on Shindaiwa's 25th anniversary video and for West Coast Turf's white paper, "Artificial Turf: Separating Fact from Fiction."
First place awards were received for the National Arbor Day Foundation's public relations outreach for its 2006 tree-planting events, Project EverGreen's "GreenCare for Troops Mission Kit," Rain Bird's 2006 interactive media kit and Rain Bird Golf's "Smart Pump Challenge" microsite. SRA also received first place awards for Shindaiwa's Web site redesign, and Turfco Manufacturing's 2006 Golf Industry Show press kit.
TOCA presented SRA with merit awards for Project EverGreen's direct mail campaign to landscape contractors, Rain Bird Golf's EAGLE Wind Tolerant Rotor video, Scotts' "Scotts Exchange" micronutrients mailing, and Shindaiwa's C4 Technology sweepstakes poster.
