State Landscape Association Announces 2007-2008 Board

Matt Synnestvedt of Synnestvedt & Associates of Northbrook was elected president of the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA) 850-member organization for the 2007-2008 term.   

Other officers are: Tyler Smith, Tyler's Landscaping Service, Inc., Rockford, vice-president; and Dan Wanzung, American Gardens, Inc., Elmhurst, secretary/treasurer.  Eric Moore, CLP of Moore Landscapes, Inc., of Northbrook, serves as immediate past president.

Joining the Board of Directors for the first time are Steve Brodt, Western DuPage Landscaping, Naperville; Tim Caldwell, CLT, The Savanna Group, Inc., North Aurora; and Charlie Keppel, The Care of Trees, Wheeling.

Re-elected as a Director is Ed Gomez, Paradise Landscape Design, Ltd., Hampshire.

Continuing Directors include: Robert Bertog, Bertog Landscape, Wheeling; Steve Fiore, Rocco Fiore & Sons, Inc.; Libertyville; Brenda McMahon, St. Charles; and Dave Story, Bartlett Tree Experts, Inc., Northbrook.

Founded in 1959, ILCA promotes education, professionalism and quality workmanship through seminars, workshops, trade shows, networking and social events, legislative involvement, publications, awards, financial and scholarship grants.
