JASPER, Ind. — Stens Power Equipment Parts recently finalized the purchase of a distribution center facility in Jasper, Ind., that will become its new headquarters.
The company’s existing building at the new Cathy Lane location will house warehouse, packaging, shipping and cross dock functions for the company. A planned expansion to the facility at the new location will include a 12,000-square-foot office addition.
“The move to the new location will allow for better efficiencies and space utilization that will allow for our continued growth,” notes Peter Ariens, president.
The new warehouse location is expected to begin in September and finish in December of this year with the move into the new complex.
Stens, in business since 1969, supplies replacement parts for power equipment such as lawn mowers, chain saws, strings trimmers and other small engine driven powered equipment. The company provides parts to more than 50,000 lawn and garden dealers, rental centers and distributors worldwide.
