Captivating audiences for the past 25 years, the Scheer’s Lumberjack Shows will present the STIHL Lumberjack Challenge daily at this year’s GIE+EXPO (Green Industry & Equipment Expo) held Oct. 23-25, 2008 in Louisville, Ky.
Scheer’s Lumberjack Shows have been seen on ABC’s Wide World of Sports, TNN, ESPN Jeep Trails, Discovery Channel’s The Travelers, MTV’s The Real World and Road Rules, the Family Channel and the Outdoor Life Network.
Featured events at GIE+EXPO’s shows will include axe throwing, chopping, log rolling, cross cut sawing, hot sawing and chain saw carving. The lively and fun STIHL Lumberjack Challenge will be held in the outdoor demonstration area at the Kentucky Exposition Center during all three days of GIE+EXPO at these times:
- Thursday, Oct. 23, and Friday, Oct. 24: 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 25: 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m.
GIE+EXPO is sponsored by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, Inc. (OPEI); Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) and the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS).
