Strata Landscape Services, which provides commercial landscape services across the Western United States, has acquired Watersedge Landscape, a commercial landscape maintenance company based in San Diego.
Watersedge was founded and led for over two decades by Jorge Sanchez. It earned $4 million in revenue this past season. With the addition of Watersedge, Strata continues to deepen its presence in California while expanding its service capabilities across maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, and related services.
Sanchez will lead Strata’s business in San Diego post-close. Bill Arman from The Harvest Group represented Watersedge during the transaction.
“From our first conversation, it was clear that Strata understood what made Watersedge special,” Sanchez says. “This wasn’t about selling and walking away; it was about finding a partner who would respect our team, protect our customer relationships, and help take the business to the next level. The Strata team followed through on what they said at every step, which gives me great confidence in our future.”
“Watersedge is exactly the type of business we look to bring into Strata,” says Justin Crandall, CEO of Strata Landscape Services. “Jorge built a strong company with a great reputation, loyal clients, and a committed team. Our goal is to support that foundation with additional resources, systems, and growth capital, while preserving what already made them successful. We’re excited to welcome Watersedge into the Strata family.”
