SWAT, EPA to Hold Stakeholder Meetings

The meetings will focus on weather- and sensor-based irrigation control.

Back-to-back meetings in Florida April 18-19 will lay groundwork for two national programs for development of testing specifications and market awareness programs for water-efficient irrigation controls. These meetings were coordinated so interested stakeholders could attend both.

SWAT Meeting:

Smart Water Application Technologies will kick off technical and marketing efforts for rain sensors on Wednesday, April 18, in Gainesville, Fla.

Irrigation industry and water agency representatives are encouraged to attend. The meeting includes an optional tour of an irrigation technology testing area.
