GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syngenta has named Dan Steltz market manager for lawn and landscape. He will be responsible for all Syngenta marketing programs and initiatives for the company’s lawn care, ornamental production and vegetation management customer groups.
Steltz joined Syngenta in 2004 as a planning and forecasting manager. Since 2006, he has worked in the golf, landscape and consumer division of Syngenta, most recently as market manager for vegetation management and specialty.
Steltz holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University.
“Dan Steltz’s proven record of success within the Syngenta organization has given him the type of experience that will prove invaluable for his leadership role in the professional lawn care, and the greenhouse and nursery markets,” says Scott Reasons, head of marketing for Syngenta’s golf, landscape and consumer division.
