GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syngenta Professional Products is pleased to announce that Daniel (Danny) Jones has joined its turf and ornamental team as a sales representative for parts of Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
Jones will serve the ornamental and lawn markets. He joined Syngenta from M&R Specialty Sales in Lawrenceville, Ga., where he had served since 1994, first as a regional manager and later, as vice president. At M&R, Jones tripled annual sales for a four-state region consisting of Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas.
Prior to entering the turf and ornamental industry, Jones spent 10 years as a sworn officer in the DeKalb County Police Department in metropolitan Atlanta. He received more than a dozen commendations for outstanding performance.
Jones attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
"I am excited to join Syngenta, and I look forward to serving the many customers in my area," Jones said. "My industry experience, product knowledge, and understanding of my native region will serve Syngenta customers well."
