Tanaka, the two-stroke engine manufacturer, has announced its new company identity and branding strategy for the future.
Over the last 18 months, the company has introduced two new product categories – powerboards and powerkarts, which are separate from the Tanaka outdoor power equipment product categories. Tanaka will unveil its new look and products at the Green Industry Expo, Nov. 6-8, in St. Louis, Mo.
All of Tanaka’s product categories can be summed up by one phrase, “A Better Way to Work and Play.” Providing better solutions for work, Tanaka power equipment consists of the following product categories: grass trimmers/brush cutters, hedge trimmers, portable edgers, blowers, chain saws, pole products, drills, augers, pumps and accessories.
“We are very excited to offer these new product categories and brands without diluting the strength of the Tanaka power equipment brand,” shared Jim Elmer, director of marketing for International Sales & Marketing (ISM), the exclusive marketing and support firm for Tanaka in North, South and Central America. “The core of our business has always been outdoor power equipment, and the strength of Tanaka is its proven history of manufacturing premier two-stroke engines.”
