Target Specialty Products will feature best-selling author Bob Nelson, a noted speaker on employee motivation, as one of the keynote speakers on its 8th Annual Business Management Conference. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at the Westin Hotel South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Nelson is the founder of Nelson Motivation, Inc., a management and training firm based in San Diego, Calif. He is an internationally recognized expert in the areas of employee recognition, rewards, motivation, morale, retention, productivity and management.
“Employee retention is a big issue for many of our customers. Nelson’s presentation can help managers implement or improve existing employee recognition programs,” said Target’s Regional Manager Rich Records.
In addition, attendees will hear from southern California-based attorney Jason Weiss, who specializes in litigation and transactional matters in the labor and employment law arena. Weiss represents employers and management in connection with a variety of employment and labor relations matters. His practice includes the drafting and implementation of employee handbooks and workplace policies.
