Target raised over $1,500 during a six-week campaign. In addition to associate contributions, each of Target’s seven offices posted Navy SEAL fundraising posters at office will-call counters for customers that wished to contribute. Target’s matching program brought the funds raised to over $3,000.
Randy Bazz, President of NC Dynamics arranged a donation of 40 pair of Oakley’s Special Forces sunglasses for the team. Turner’s Outdoorsman of Chino Hills and Big 5 Sporting Goods of Tustin generously discounted supplies after learning Target was purchasing supplies for a SEALS care package.
“We appreciate the generosity of our customers, local businesses, and our associates which enabled Target to send the team some much-needed supplies,” says Lon Records, president of Target Specialty Products.
In addition to the glasses, the care package included 16 boxes of DVDs, gun cleaners, eye-care products, magazines and pre-packed foods including protein supplements.
