PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Textron Golf, Turf & Specialty Products, a producer of professional turf care equipment, golf cars and utility vehicles, recently named Gregory Hyland chairman and CEO. Hyland will have responsibility for the continued integration and operations of the specialty products unit, which was created earlier in 2000 through the combination of E-Z-GO Textron and Textron Turf Care & Specialty Products.
The newly formed group offers products under the Bob-Cat, Bunton, Cushman, E-Z-GO, Jacobsen, Ransomes, Ryan, Steiner and Brouwer brand names. Hyland will report directly to Sam Licavoli, chairman, president and CEO of Textron Industrial Products.
Hyland joins Textron from Tyco International Ltd. where he was most recently president of the flow control division’s engineered products group. Prior to Tyco, he was a group president and corporate officer at Keystone International Inc., which was purchased by Tyco in 1997. Hyland also spent 10 years at Rockwell International.
L.T. Walden, previously chairman and CEO of Textron Golf, Turf & Specialty Products, will continue to serve the unit as chairman emeritus. Walden will focus on key customers and developing and enhancing industry relations.
