Textron Names New Marketing Team

Textron Golf, Turf & Specialty Products has named four new vice presidents to lead sales and marketing for its turf and professional lawn care divisions.

Charlotte, N.C. - Textron Golf, Turf & Specialty Products has named four new vice presidents to lead sales and marketing for its turf and professional lawn care divisions. "These changes reinforce our continuing commitment to Professional Lawn Care and turf and will help strengthen our leadership in the industry," announced Jon Carlson, the company's new president.

Dennis Schweiger has been named executive vice president of sales and marketing - turf and PLC (Bob-Cat, Bunton, Cushman, Jacobsen, Ryan). He joins Textron from agricultural irrigation manufacturer Valmont Industries, where he was vice president of Global Distribution. Schweiger has more than 30 years of experience in the capital equipment industry, including leadership roles at prestigious companies, such as John Deere and Massey-Ferguson, LTD.

Three other new vice presidents will report to Schweiger:

  • Ralph Nicotera has been promoted to vice president of marketing and product management - turf and PLC. Nicotera has been with the company for 27 years, most recently directing sales and dealer development for turf and PLC.

  • Joe Thompson has been appointed vice president of sales - turf. He has an extensive background in sales and marketing for the global equipment industry, working for leading companies, including John Deere and Case Construction.

  • Joe LaFollette is the new vice president of customer care - turf and PLC. He joins Textron Golf and Turf from CNH Corp., where he held several executive sales and marketing positions and most recently directed global after-care.
