The Care of Trees arborist Jake Kubisiak, left, was recently recognized by the Lake Forest (Ill.) Openlands Association for his outstanding contributions to the organization’s long-standing mission of preserving public land in urban environments. Kubisiak is responsible for installing and maintaining owls’ nests on Openlands’ property.
He is joined by Peter Gordon, Lake Forest City forester center, and Ed Chandler, board president of Lake Forest Openlands Association at the association’s annual meeting.
