Echo announced the recipients of its Distributor Awards, each showing exemplary sales and customer service performance.

Timberland Machines, a division of Turf Products Corporation, was named the 2001 Distributor of the Year in recognition of its top-grossing sales. The company distributes several major lines of power equipment to more than 1,300 retail dealers in six New England states and New York.

Texas Outdoor Power Equipment, Georgetown, Texas, was name a top-producing distributor in 2001, and Midwest Equipment and Supply Col, Evansville, Ind. - an Echo supplier for 24 years - also earned a top-producing distributor award for its sales.

"Each company is setting the industry standard by demonstrating exceptional sales performance as well as strong customer service.
