Toro Asks Contractors to Name Its New Stand-On Mower

Contest winner will win one of the first mowers off the production line.

Landscape contractors have the opportunity to win The Toro’s Co.’s new stand-on mower, to be released this fall, by submitting the best name for the product in manufacturer's “Name It & Claim It” competition.

By visiting the mower’s Web site (www.toro.com/nameit) between its debut May 12 and June 15, viewers can submit their name suggestions for Toro’s newest mower, which the company says delivers a superior quality of cut while minimizing operator fatigue through exceptional handling, enhanced operator comfort and ease of use.

Mail-in entries postmarked by June 15 and labeled “Name It & Claim It Contest” will be accepted at the company’s headquarters: The Toro Company, LCB Marketing Dept. 8111 Lyndale Ave. So., Bloomington, MN 55420.

In successive months, Web site visitors will be able to vote for their favorite choice from among those submitted and learn the winning name when it’s revealed in August. Only one name will be chosen from among the entries; there is no limit to the number of ideas an individual may submit. One lucky landscape contractor will win one of the first stand-on mowers to roll off Toro’s production line.
