Toro reached an agreement with the Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF), a joint initiative between Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association to promote and enhance the growth of youth participation in baseball and softball throughout the world. The agreement, which designates Toro as a “Preferred Supplier of Irrigation Systems and Turfgrass Maintenance Equipment” to BTF, will make field maintenance equipment and knowledge more accessible to youth baseball and softball organizations. In addition to providing preferred discounts on Toro products to eligible BTF grant recipients, The Toro Giving Program will donate up to $10,000 in equipment to selected BTF grant recipients.

BTF promotes youth baseball and softball by funding field construction and renovation, uniforms, equipment and selected programming expenses. Through 2006, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund has awarded approximately $8 million to the construction and renovation of more than 190 youth fields.
