Turfgrass Producers International (TPI) recently elected new officers and board members to lead the organization. The officers will serve one-year terms, with board members serving for three years.
Ed Zuckerman, president and CEO, Delta Bluegrass Co., Stockton, Calif., is the new TPI president. Prior to his election as president, Zuckerman was vice-president of the organization. He also served on the 11-person board of trustees in 1992. In 2001, he was elected an officer to serve as secretary-treasurer.
Art Campbell, owner, Campbell Sod, Rossville, Kansas, was elected as vice-president of TPI. For the past year, he has served as the organization’s secretary and was first elected to the group’s board of trustees for a three-year term in 1992.
Warren Bell, owner, Lake Mountain Turf Farms, Sandy, Utah, was elected secretary-treasurer of the organization. He has served on the TPI board since 2000.
The following individuals were newly elected to the TPI board of trustees: Norm DeBuck, owner, New Lawn Sod Farm, Belleville, Mich.; Bobby Winstead, owner, Winstead Turf Farms, Arlington, Tenn.; and Bob Weerts, owner, Blue Valley Sod, Inc., Winnebago, Minn.
