Tree Worx has been acquired by Boutte Tree, a North Branch Capital company.
Headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Tree Worx provides tree removal, trimming, and plant healthcare services to residential and commercial customers. The company was founded in 2013 by Hannes de Wet, who grew the business exponentially over more than a decade as president and CEO. De Wet will remain at the helm of Tree Worx moving forward as CEO.
In 2024, de Wet approached FourBridges Capital Advisors, an investment banking firm, to help explore options to partner to accelerate the growth of the business.
“Hannes’ passion for his business is undeniable, and we were committed to helping him find the right deal with the right partner,” says Andrew Allred, vice president at FourBridges. “We were thrilled to secure a great deal with an exceptional partner that’s experienced in the residential services space.”
The FourBridges advisory team included Allred, Chris Rowe, and John Kirkland. Legal advisors to Tree Worx were Tyler Hand and Jared Adams with Holland & Knight (Chattanooga).
