TurfLinks Donates $1,000 Toward Environmental Research

HUDSON, Mass. – The New York State Turfgrass Association announced that TurfLinks, a Massachusetts distributor of fertilizer, grass seed and control products serving the golf, sports turf and landscape industry, donated $1,000 to environmental research by becoming a Silver Sponsor of the 5^th Annual Sullivan County Challenge fundraising golf tournament held at Grossinger Country Club in Liberty, N.Y., last August. Company President Kevin Lyons said TurfLinks is committed to customer service, product knowledge and agronomic expertise.

“Our TurfLinks Environmental Service division provides a full complement of turf management services to many of the premier golf, athletic and landscape facilities throughout New England and Eastern New York,” Lyons said. “Whenever we have an opportunity to sponsor environmental research, which promotes best practice methods for managing turf, we feel we have an obligation to do so.”
