International Building and Design Show: March 6-7, 2001, Montreal, Canada
MONTREAL - The inaugural International Building and Design Show will be held March 6-7, 2001, at the Montreal Olympic Stadium. This event was organized to meet the needs of architects, engineers, technologists, designers, construction contractors and other trade professionals.
Attendees will be able to familiarize themselves with new building and design technology, meet with manufacturers and discover new products making their market debut.
The International Building and Design Show was deliberately integrated with the National Home Show and Landscaping Show that will be held March 2-11 in order to further stimulate the building of bridges between international buyers and industry professionals.
The International Building and Design Show will also help participants expand their knowledge through a series of approximately 20 seminars that will be presented by North American and Latin American experts. These seminars will address a variety of topics, such as the construction techniques of tomorrow, specific construction opportunities in Costa Rica, the possibilities of e-commerce and e-business as well as the market situation in the Southeast (Atlanta) and New England (Boston) regions of the United States.
Additionally, construction site visits will be held March 5 and 8 for attendees to learn more about how Quebec professionals complete construction and design projects.
Unique in Canada, the International Building and Design Show will provide its participants with an opportunity to meet the companies that will be showcasing products and services at the National Home Show and Landscaping Show.
