US Maintenance Launches New Web Site

The redesigned Web site is easier to navigate and provides updated information on the company's service offerings.

US Maintenance, a facilities maintenance and management company, released its new Web site on Jan. 16. The site has been redesigned with a fresh look that reflects and links to its parent company, Transfield Services. The new site also is easier to navigate and provides updated information on the company’s service offerings including a section devoted to sustainable solutions.

In addition to an easier navigation system, the site includes a new Knowledge Center complete with information on upcoming events, media releases, relevant industry news and a publication download center. This feature will allow clients and prospective clients to download the latest USM brochures, fact sheets and corporate reports such as the Transfield Services Sustainability Report. Prospective clients can contact corporate headquarters with sales inquiries through the online contact form in the “Contact USM” section.

The expanded capabilities of the Web site also include a new client login section. Clients of the former Daystar, Whelan’s and Horizon companies, in addition to USM’s clients, now can log onto their secured Web portals from one location. Electrical vendors also can log onto the “On-Track” system.

Contractor inquiries are managed through the new “contractor sign up” section of the Web site.  This section allows potential contractors for various USM service lines to pre-qualify to serve in USM’s vendor network via a preliminary online application, which allows the company to expand its current contractor network of more than 13,000 service providers. USM also has greatly expanded its “careers” page with regularly updated job postings for their corporate offices and field positions located throughout North America.

The USM communications team also is working toward adding more interactivity to the Web site with a Flash presentation, archived issues of their e-newsletter, downloadable white papers and additional features to the Knowledge Center.
