CALABASAS, Calif. – Valley Crest Tree Company has announced the promotion of Doug Henderson to senior business developer for the company’s specimen tree division.
Henderson will be responsible for identifying and strengthening relationships with customers and key advocates – and the Valley Crest’s its position in the market.
“We’ve added a significant talent to our specimen business with Doug,” commented Robert Crudup, Jr., president and chief operating officer. “During his tenure with our nursery team, he proved himself instrumental in delivering outstanding value for our customers. There’s no greater reflection on his contribution than his dedication to provide the highest levels of service.”
Henderson’s appointment comes on the heels of several significant changes to the specimen division.
Under the leadership of Tadd Russikoff, vice president, the division expanded its service capabilities to new markets in northern California. “There is an increasingly strong customer base for our products and services – increasing our capacity and service structure is a natural way to continue the momentum and take our business to a new level,” Russikoff noted.
Henderson joined Valley Crest Tree Company in 1987 and has more than 25 years experience in the green industry. As sales representative for the company’s nursery division, Henderson was regularly honored as a top producer.
