Valley Industries launches new battery-powered motor systems

Valley Industries has launched battery-powered motor systems designed specifically for the green industry.

Engineered as direct retrofits for traditional gas engines, these new systems offer an immediate, sustainable alternative. Each VIPower retrofit kit includes an electric motor, intelligent controller, lithium battery and a high-speed charger — a dimensionally compatible plug-and-play solution.

From commercial sprayers to top dressers, edgers and mowers, VIPower systems are designed to drop into existing equipment platforms with minimal modification or engineering. They also offer a hybrid capability to run off of AC or DC power supply.

“Growers and landscape professionals are long overdue for an affordable clean energy upgrade,” says Pete Gustin, product manager at VIPower. “With our fully integrated retrofit kits, OEM’s and growers no longer need to spend months, years or hundreds of thousands of dollars to engineer their electric solutions. And for the end user, VIPower offers a direct path to electrification without the need to replace entire fleets.”

VIPower retrofit systems also feature onboard diagnostics, adaptive power delivery and fast-charging capabilities. All components are CE certified, and the battery and charger are ETL certified to meet UL standards. The system includes a 3-year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty.
