Under terms of the agreement, Longboat Key Maintenance, founded in 1986 by Bobby Hardy, will now operate as a ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance company. Gary Tungate, ValleyCrest senior vice president and regional manager, will oversee the transition. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Longboat Key Maintenance, said to be known for its long-term trust-based relationships on the island, joins a thriving ValleyCrest organization with more than 10,000 employees nationwide. “The quality of our employees is the No. 1 reason customers trust us with their business so we’re excited to welcome the nearly 100 employees of Longboat Key to the ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance team," ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance President Roger Zino says. "They are an outstanding group whom we have admired for many years and who share our passion for great customer service, superb landscapes and collaborative working environments. We look forward to continuing the company’s tradition of great relationships as we bring value to every customer in this coastal market.”
Bobby Hardy says: "Since founding Longboat Key Maintenance more than 21 years ago, we have always strived to ensure that each and every one of our customers are fully satisfied with our services. We have no doubt that our customers will quickly realize how well ValleyCrest aligns with our customer-focused approach and how much they will benefit as a result of this union.”
