ValleyCrest Companies, the nation’s largest provider of integrated landscape services, announced that it has acquired St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Phil Graham & Co., a landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm. The acquisition signals ValleyCrest’s continuing initiative to grow its landscape architecture and design-build businesses in the important Florida marketplace. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Phil Graham & Co., now known as Phil Graham Studio, will join the ValleyCrest Design Group, the Company’s recently established landscape architecture division. Phil Graham, founder and principal of Phil Graham & Company, will continue to run the studio as its Managing Principal.
Established in 1967, Phil Graham Studio is an accomplished and award-winning landscape design and planning practice , having completed more than 3,000 design projects across a wide variety of project types, including urban design, parks and recreation facilities, single and multi-family residential sites, corporate and commercial sites, education and healthcare campuses, and transportation corridors. A Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and LEED AP-certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, Phil Graham has made a significant personal impact on the St. Petersburg, Tampa and Sarasota markets for the past 35 years.

This new partnership is the culmination of many years of collaboration. ValleyCrest has installed many of Phil Graham’s designs, including Champions Club (Pasco County, Fla.), Brandon Parkway (Brandon, Fla.), Treasure Island City Entrance (Treasure Island, Fla.), Meridian Avenue (Tampa, Fla.), and Trinity West, (Pasco County, Fla.).
