ValleyCrest Cos., Calabasas, Calif., expands its tree care business in Florida with the acquisition of Fritz Brothers Tree Service, Shalimar, Fla.
Under terms of the agreement, Fritz Brothers Tree Service, founded in 1990 by Kenneth Lesley (Les) Fritz, will now operate as Fritz Brothers, A ValleyCrest Tree Care Services Company. Les Fritz and his brother Michael Fritz will remain active in the business. William Leathers, ValleyCrest regional vice president in Destin, Fla., and Vic Bernardini, general manager, ValleyCrest Tree Care Services, will oversee the transition. Financial details were not disclosed.
