Vermeer showcases new articulated loaders

Vermeer recently showed its compact articulated loaders (ATX), which debuted last year but made their first appearance on the GIE+EXPO show floor last week.

The three new machines offer maneuverability while having the added benefit of low turf disturbance. These ATX machines also feature a telescopic boom and can complete various tasks with the multi-tool attachment plate, including landscaping, snow removal, and tree care work. 

Vermeer ATX articulated loaders are made in conjunction with MultiOne. North American and Caribbean dealers provide the Vermeer-branded machines.

Vermeer ATX530 Compact Articulated Loader

The Vermeer ATX530 compact articulated loader comes with a 25-hp (42.5-kW) Kubota D1305 diesel engine. It has a telescopic boom that extends 21.6 inches for loading materials to a dump height of 108.3 inches in hinge pin height. It has a rated operating capacity (straight) of 1,343 pounds while having a standard weight of 2,760 pounds with rear weights and without attachments. This lift-capacity-to-weight ratio allows contractors to use a lighter machine while still being able to carry heavy materials on the jobsite.

Vermeer ATX720 Compact Articulated Loader

The Vermeer ATX720 compact articulated loader is designed with a combination of power, speed and agility. With a telescopic boom that extends 29.1 inches for loading materials to a dump height of 114 inches in hinge pin height and a rated operating capacity of 2,155 pounds, this machine was built for a variety of jobs. The ATX720 is 44.5-inches wide with narrow tires, while the wider tires make the machine 50.4 inches (128-cm) wide. The standard tire configuration allows the ATX720 to fit through a standard four-foot gate for backyard access on landscape jobs. It is powered by the 25 hp (18.6 kW) Kubota D1305 Tier 4 Final diesel engine.

Vermeer AXT850 Compact Articulated Loader

The Vermeer ATX850 compact articulated loader is equipped with a 57-hp (42.5-kW) Kohler KDI903 diesel engine and has an extended boom reach of 29.1 inches for loading material to a dump height of 117.3 inches. With narrow tires, this articulated loader is just 42.1 inches wide and can be outfitted with wider tires for maximum flotation on soft grounds. The ATX850 has a rated operating capacity (straight) of 2,287 pounds while having a standard weight of 4,237 pounds with rear weights and without attachments.
