Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting has named Jerry Ewing the new regional field technical specialist for southern California. He will coordinate technical support for all Vista low-voltage lighting products from Santa Maria to San Diego and also will oversee hands-on training for distributor personnel, installation contractors and their crews.
Ewing also will present lighting design and installation seminars at local distributorships. The seminars will review design techniques, cable and transformer sizing, lamp selection and photometrics.
Ewing brings more than 25 years of experience to his new position, having worked in landscape product sales and support and installation. Previously, he was a sales representative for the J. Harold Mitchell Company of San Gabriel, Calif.
