Vista Names New VP of Manufacturing

Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting has appointed Efren Saenz vice president of manufacturing.

With a professional engineering background, Saenz most recently worked at Rain Bird as a strategic business unit quality manager, overseeing direction and quality improvements for four plant operations. He joined Rain Bird in 2000 as a senior quality engineer.

Saenz previously worked with Columbia Lighting in Spokane, Wash., as a quality manager and with Johnson Matthey Electronics, also in Spokane, as an electronics production superintendent. He also served as a member of the technical staff at TRW Space & Defense Systems in Redondo Beach, Calif., for 12 years.

Saenz received an MBA from Gonzaga University in Washington and an engineering degree from California State Polytechnic University.
