Aquascape is set to start off the year with a bang with Water Garden Excellence training January 3-4, 2007 in Orlando, Fla.
Water Garden Excellence combines retail knowledge with pond building savvy to ensure the best customer experience. Quarterly training, as well as one-on-one visits with Aquascape’s sales team, as just two of the perks of the program.

January’s quarterly training session in Orlando will feature budgeting classes taught by Aquascape CEO Colleen Heitzler; large-scale project management training by Ed Beaulieu, Aquascape’s vice president of field research; Retail Matrix education by Aquascape Canada General Manager Rudy DePaoli and TERRA Greenhouses Marketing Manager Bill Bown; business partnership guidance by life coach Nikki Nemerouf; and much more.
A highlight of the training will include a keynote speech and reservation-only workshop given by retail guru John Stanley. Stanley, an industry consultant and author for over two decades, will discuss the challenges of the industry and offer the skills business owners need to grow the department. In his interactive session, participants will learn about customer flow in the department, merchandising techniques, displays that can increase sales by 540 percent, signage systems that are guaranteed to grow sales, and introducing positive changes to meet the needs of a changing customer.
In September, Stanley presented his thoughts to Aquascape’s sales force and a choice group of employees, who were impressed and excited about his retail experience and advice.
