Irrigation industry professional Bill Savelle has been promoted to national sales manager at Weathermatic, a Dallas-based irrigation equipment manufacturer. The announcement was made by Brodie Bruner, vice president of sales and marketing at the company.
Savelle, who has nearly 30 years experience in landscape irrigation, will direct the efforts of the Weathermatic national sales team and will work closely with distribution partners, professional contractors and landscape specifiers.

Savelle joined Weathermatic in 2003 and has worked in sales and product development. He had previously been associated with Rain Bird as a regional sales manager, and also worked in engineering at Syncroflo, a pump systems manufacturer. He is a Certified Irrigation Designer and Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor. He has also worked as a professional landscape contractor and as an irrigation distributor.
