At its annual corporate banquet in January, Turf Holdings honored several outstanding United States franchises with Weedy Awards. The awards recognize exceptional service in a variety of areas including customer service, efficiency and innovation.

Judy Praskavich of Lake County, Ohio Weed Man received the Desi Award. This honor is in recognition of exemplary support services in a Weed Man franchise.
Weed Man of Columbus, Ohio won the Green and Yellow Award. This award is for enthusiastically embracing the Weed Man business.
Turf Holdings CEO Roger Mongeon received the Phil Cowan Innovation Award. This honor is given to one person who has contributed many ideas that have been successfully implemented within the franchise system.
Service awards were given to franchises that have been successfully operating for five and ten years. Only one United States franchise has been open for ten years, which is in Denver, Colo.
