Well-Known Television Host Launches Gardening Organization

Joe Lamp'l of the Do It Yourself Network is expanding into radio and weekly syndicated columns.

ATLANTA, Ga. – Joe Lamp'l, master gardener and host of Do It Yourself Network's Fresh from the Garden, announced today that he has not only launched a new gardening organization, The joe gardener Company, but will also begin hosting a new radio show and writing a weekly syndicated column.

The joe gardener Company, which was founded by Lamp'l, provides gardeners from beginners to professionals with information about all types of horticulture and gardening related topics. The organization's Web site, www.joegardener.com, offers visitors an array of information that can help them become the gardener they want to be. From articles to videos to simple step- by-step instructions, joegardener.com provides multiple resources for learning to create, grow, or landscape a garden.

"It is the joe gardener motto of ‘Learn, Create, Grow’ that truly inspires me to continue to try new things," says Lamp'l. Lamp'l also announced today that he is the voice of gardening on The joe gardener Radio Show. Heard on Atlanta's New Talk Station, WGKA 920 AM, Lamp'l answers listeners' questions and helps inspire his audience to create and grow beautiful landscapes. Airing from 7 a.m. to 8:30 am every Saturday, The joe gardener Radio Show helps thousands of people solve their most intriguing gardening and landscaping dilemmas.

In addition to his television and radio show, Lamp'l has also agreed to share his gardening expertise in a syndicated newspaper column. The weekly column, “The Gardener Within,” will begin appearing in nearly 400 national newspapers in early spring.
