Brian Brueggemann, an operations consultant with Wilson360, was recently honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Department of Agriculture at Southern Illinois University Carbondale during the university’s annual All Ag Banquet.

The award recognizes alumni whose careers have made a lasting impact on the agriculture industry.
Brueggemann returned to his alma mater for the ceremony, where the evening brought together mentors, former teammates, and colleagues who helped shape different chapters of his career.
“It was truly an honor to be recognized by my alma mater,” Brueggemann says. “Sharing the stage with Dan Schaefer, someone I had the privilege of hiring during my time at Focal Pointe, made the evening especially meaningful. Having former teammates there to celebrate with us was a powerful reminder that the most important part of any career is the people you work alongside.”
Schaefer received the Mid-Career Award during the same ceremony, creating what Brueggemann described as a full-circle moment in his leadership journey.
Over the course of his career, Brueggemann's work has influenced organizations across the landscape and agriculture industries, where he has helped companies strengthen operations and cultivate leadership within their teams. Today, he works closely with business leaders across the green industry to improve operational performance, leadership development, and long-term organizational growth.
“We’re proud to see Brian recognized with this honor,” says Robert Clinkenbeard, CEO of Wilson360. “His career reflects a deep commitment to developing people, strengthening organizations, and advancing the industry.”
