The Wolf Creek Co. entered into an agreement to purchase the company Nite Tyme Illuminations from owner Doug Ludmann.
“We have been impressed with the business Doug has built over the last eight years," says Scott D. Knowles, president of The Wolf Creek Co. "A business based on good products, good customer service, innovative operations, and a concern for the industry. The philosophy and traits of Nite Tyme Illuminations and our company are very similar. While the addition of Doug’s company will increase our lighting sales, it will also position us to properly support the growing landscape lighting market in our area.”
Doug Ludmann, owner of Nite Tyme Illuminations said, “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining Wolf Creek. The synergy created by combining our companies gives Wolf Creek and Nite tyme Illuminations the ability to serve both client bases even better.”
It is Wolf Creek’s objective to continue much of Ludmann's business as he has been operating This includes the manufacturers distributed, many of which are the same.
The main lighting inventory will be centralized in Wolf Creek’s Cleveland warehouse with each of Wolf Creek’s 11 warehouses stocking according to local contractor demand. Ludmann accepted employment with Wolf Creek and will office in Wolf Creek’s Cincinnati branch.
“Both Doug and I agree this move will be positive for Nite Tyme customers. Doug’s energy, creativity, and industry knowledge combined with the locations, strength, and growth plans of Wolf Creek will create a stronger supplier for lighting contractors,” Knowles says.
