Zaretsky & Associates, a landscape design and installation firm located in Rochester, N.Y. announced that their garden exhibit, “Bark” received 6 awards at the Greater Rochester Flower & Garden Show last month. The awards were:
- Best Medium Garden
- Gold Award – Unique Garden Structure
- Gold Award – Most Entertaining Garden
- Gold Award – Best Garden Idea
- Gold Award – Best Integration of Garden Structures & Accessories
- Silver Award – Most Creative Use of Natural Stone
The “Bark” display was a dog-themed garden that also featured plants with interesting and unusual bark. The garden was dedicated to Zaretsky’s beloved Australian shepherd, Ariel, and several hundred dollars was raised for the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
