FREMONT, Calif. – Tend has announced the launch of a new line of high-definition, Wi-Fi video cameras with John Deere, the world leader in agricultural equipment and property maintenance solutions. The cameras give property and homeowners a simple, durable and affordable way to monitor their home, outbuildings, equipment or business with plug-and-play ease.
The new John Deere WiFi Camera 100 and John Deere Outdoor WiFi Camera 120W (coming soon) make getting started extremely easy without the need to run new cables. Simply mount the cameras in the desired location, plug into an outlet and pair them to any existing Wi-Fi network. Within minutes, users can view and listen to live or recorded video and audio in stunning HD clarity from any iOS or Android device. Both include the most powerful CMOS imaging sensor on the market for exceptional quality and cutting-edge IR filters for powerful night-vision performance. Built-in Wi-Fi extenders expand existing wireless home network coverage to boost the connection.
The cameras are available for both indoor and outdoor applications.
• The John Deere WiFi Camera 100 is an indoor camera offering smooth HD streaming video, crisp two-way audio and automatic night vision, along with anytime/anywhere access via the free iSecurity+ app for iOS and Android. It offers 720p still image capture and comes with a power adapter, mounting kit and quick installation guide.
• The John Deere Outdoor WiFi Camera 120W will offer HD quality streaming video and audio with dual antennas in a durable weatherproof housing to withstand all types of weather conditions at temperatures ranging from -4° to 122°F. Powerful night-vision IR technology will ensure round-the-clock visibility, even in complete darkness. It will offer remote access via the free iSecurity+ app, including electronic pan, tilt and zoom from within the app. The camera will come with a power adapter, mounting kit and quick installation guide.
Multiple cameras can be configured on any network to monitor various points of interest, and new cameras can be added quickly and easily at any time. Both cameras offer motion-triggered recording and alerts to notify users of activity detection. Each includes a free lifetime subscription to 24-hours of cloud storage to preserve video clips for review, with additional storage available. Both are available with Tend’s optional premium services, including Smart Detection, that integrates computer vision technology to differentiate activities and people and reduce false alarms by up to 98 percent, 14-day cloud storage and 30-day cloud storage.
With more than 700,000 cameras already on the Tend platform, their computer vision technology provides an all-in-one access, monitoring, storage and smart detection technology that makes state-of-the-art video monitoring simple and user-friendly. The Tend platform has been certified by numerous leading ISPs as secure with full encryption to protect users’ privacy.
Consumers can get a sneak peek at the cameras on display in the Tend Booth #206 during the 2016 Deere & Company After Market Expo set for Dec. 4-14 at the Austin (Texas) Convention Center.
