Riverview Landscapes has acquired Unisource Commercial Landscape and related entities, a Hudson, Massachusetts-based commercial landscaping, snow management, facility services, and managed services business serving customers across the Northeast US.
Founded in 2006 by Mike and Brady Otey, Unisource operates three primary segments, including commercial landscaping and snow management, managed services and cleaning services.
As part of the transaction, Unisource’s commercial landscaping and cleaning operations will combine to form Riverview’s new Boston Metro West branch. In addition, Unisource’s managed services division will form a new Managed Services branch, representing a new and strategic business line for Riverview.
“This acquisition represents an exciting milestone for Riverview,” says Liam Burrell, chief financial officer of Riverview. “Unisource brings an outstanding team, strong customer relationships, and a differentiated managed services capability that expands the solutions we can provide to multi-location commercial clients. We’re thrilled to welcome their employees and customers to the Riverview team.”
The transaction marks Riverview’s third and fourth branches in New England, further expanding its regional footprint. The new branches will be led by experienced Unisource team members. Matthew Larson will serve as branch manager of Boston Metro West, and Chuck DiSchino will serve as branch manager of Managed Services.
“We are proud of what our team has built over the past two decades,” says Mike Otey, co-founder of Unisource.
“Joining Riverview provides our employees with new growth opportunities and gives our customers access to expanded capabilities and resources,” adds Brady Otey. “We’re confident this partnership positions the business for long-term success.”
In addition to the New England region, Riverview also operates a Southern New Jersey, Northern New Jersey, and New York region.
