And the March winner of Lawn & Landscape’s online sweepstakes is … David Justice.
Justice, who works with Southern Charm Lawn & Landscaping, Covington, La., was selected to receive the Husqvarna 326LX trimmer.
“The trimmer will be most beneficial for our residential customers,” Justice explained. The Husqvarna 326LX is equipped with an E-TECH II engine and soft, rubber-coated handles. The lightweight trimmer can be fitted with an optional J-handle for use with a blade.
Boasting 10 full-time employees and seven part-timers, Southern Charm has been in the lawn business for about 25 years. “We have on our staff a licensed landscaper, a licensed ornamental turf grass applicator and a licensed horticulturist,” Justice explained.
The company provides full lawn care services, including mowing, fertilization, insect control, fungus control, weed control, ant control, deep root fertilization, application of pre- and post-emergence, insect control for trees and shrubs, lawn aeration, installation and repair of sprinkler systems and complete landscape service.
And the growing company is looking ahead to a successful year.
“So far this year our sales have increased over 60 percent from the first quarter of last year,” Justice acknowledged.
